NPS have completed the installation of a Socomec 60kVA UPS and External Battery Cabinet solution for The Skin Health Institute.
The opportunity to partner with Skin Health Institute came up in December 2019. When the client had no success in receiving any support from any of the manufacturers they turned to Natural Power Solutions. NPS were able to attend site within 24 hours meeting the need for urgency.
The client noted the existing system never served the correct purpose. Also due to the limited space, and a solution was required to fit the same footprint.
David Dempsey was able to engage with Socomec and selected a Masterys 60kVA UPS with minimum clearance requirements. This allowed NPS to install in the same location and provide the customer a 20% increase in capacity from 48kW to 60kW.
NPS provided a customised battery cabinet, again, to meet the needs of a restricted footprint. The cabinet is slightly taller which allows for additional batteries to service the new UPS.
The entire UPS solution was installed within 24 hours with a minimum disruption to the organisation. NPS now have the unit under a preventative maintenance contract and will soon be able to monitor such equipment via the NPS Services App.
