As industry standards and government regulations evolve, Eaton has announced the launch of its UL 2900-2-2 Cyber secure network card for its range of Micro UPS.
The Eaton Gigabit network card has been assessed for SSH, SNMPv3, NTP, SMTPS, DHCP and MQTT via TLS 1.2 under strict testing to meet UL 29000-2-2 standards and is the only network card to meet these standards within the industry today. While hardware that lives behind a firewall is thought of as fully protected, that isn’t always enough to keep hackers out.
So what makes a UL certified Cybersecure network card?
