Steven is currently the NZ Territory Manager for Natural Power Solutions (NPS), an IT reseller specialising in Solutions for Power and Cooling systems. Prior to that, he was Business Manager at Ingram Micro for the vendors Dell EMC (Dell Technologies) and RSA. This role was responsible for the overall running of the Dell EMC vendor relationship and growth of revenue in the reseller community. Development of strategies that will achieve this revenue and profitability growth and responsibility for sales and leading the Dell EMC team.
Prior to this, he was General Manager of Sales Agencies for Leading Edge Communications NZ. Leading Edge’s primary business is as Spark and Spark Digital’s largest mobile dealer channel partner. He led the growth of the new Sales Channel model from the ground up, establishing successful sales teams in the SE segment for Genesis Energy and n3 – NZ’s largest buying group (formerly GSB). Prior to that, he was Merchandise Manager for the business. Steven was part of the Senior Leadership team responsible for driving the business with many highlights including negotiating constant change in the Telco model while maintaining bottom line profit.
Throughout his career, Steven has also had a large amount of success in Senior Product Management and Product Marketing roles in the Communications sector, through different channels – the dealer channel, Telco, and mass-market retail.
He has a wide range of transferable skills gained through many years of experience in the Telco/Mobile and IT industries including Buying, Negotiation, Product Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales and Operations Management, General Management, Merchandising, Channel Management, Sales and Business Development
